From Vancouver to Santiago
40.000 kms South on everything but planes. 300 days journey through the people, the smiles, the endless deserts, the majestic mountains, the remote jungles and the cosmopolitan capitals of the land of the ‘West’
My Canadian visa expired and I decided to go South, with a backpack, some savings and the biggest amount of enthusiasm and self confidence ever. My only plan was... going South and never, never, never catch a plane.
Nine and and half months, 40.000 kms, 15 countries, the fullest resume later I left the Americas. I was coming home after a total of 15 months, knowing I only did what made me happy and what I was suppose to be doing.
Then, naturally, I tuned this into a job that still many people don’t understand but nothing felt more right and ‘normal’.
